Eligibility Criteria & Applying for a SBI New Card
Like any other banking institution this one too has some specific conditions like a minimum age, a constant flow of income, CIBIL report so as to be eligible to possess a SBI card.
If you wish to apply for the same, you can do so by approaching either online or offline mediums. If you wish to take the former way, log onto their portal click on their tab “Other Services” and click on credit cards. Fill out some necessary details and after usual formalities you will have on by yourself. If you wish to apply through the latter way, locate the nearest SBI branch and apply for a credit card by simply filling a form.
If you wish to track your application status, you can do so by either visiting their portal for SBI Credit Cards and click on the tab Apply or you can call the customer care of SBI Card.

Yatra SBI Credit Card
If you are a frequent traveller either be it for work or for pleasure, this is the perfect fit for you. Bank levies an annual fee of Rs.499 and the same amount is liable as the joining fee. SBI Card provides you with a welcome gift to welcome you to be as a part of SBI card family. With this card, users are to be given travel vouchers of Rs.8250 as their welcome gift
SBI Simply Click Card
If you are someone who loves online shopping this is the card for you. Accelerated reward points can be earned if the user regularly shops from partner brands such as Amazon, Lenskart, FabFurnish, BookMyShow etc. Railway tickets can be booked and can be delivered at your doorstep through this card. Annual and a joining fee of Rs.499 is levied on this card by the bank. If the cardholder spends more than a lakh, one can expect the bank to reverse the annual fee.
SBI Simply Save Card
This card strengthens the user to earn reward points on daily expenses. A joining and an annual fee of Rs.499 is levied by the bank. If you spend more than Rs.2,000 within the first 60 days of your card then you get 2000 reward points too. 1 Reward point is earned on a transaction of Rs.100 also accelerated reward points is earned if you shop from certain stores. Reward points can be used to pay off the credit balance too.
SBI FBB StyleUP Card
This card has come up after gaining support from FBB, the fashion segment of Big Bazaar. After gaining access to this card, user is entitled to a welcome voucher by FBB worth Rs.500. Shopping at FBB would be even more affordable since it would attract an additional discount of 10% and accelerated reward points can be earned by shopping at FBB, Big Bazaar etc. This card comes with a provision for turning transactions more than Rs.2,500 in EMI’s.
SBI Air India Platinum Card
This is a premium card and offers the best of services. Premium Cards help you by optimising your savings by offering you the maximum rewards. As soon as you gain access to this card, you are given complimentary 5,000 points and also gain access to Air India Frequent Flyer Program. You are entitled to earn 10 points on transaction of Rs.100 in Air India or if you are flying from some another carrier then you are entitled to 2 points on a transaction of Rs.100 transaction. With this card, you are entitled to have access to complimentary Visa lounge access across all domestic airports. Through this card you are also entitled to earn a 2.5% waiver on fuel from fuel stations across India.
SBI Student plus Advantage Card
This card was created to cater the demands for a student who avail Educational Loan from this respective banking institution. This card can be used against a FD that is held with this specific bank. 1 Reward point is earned at a transaction of every 100 Rs and these reward points can also be used to pay off the credit card bills. Railway bills and other utility bills can be paid through this specific card. One is entitled to earn 10 times the rewards on every international transaction. If the education loan’s customer is aged above 18 years, he/she is liable for add-on card too.
SBI IRCTC Platinum Card
This card is designed along with IRCTC so that the users can avail exclusive benefits on railway tickets. A joining fee of Rs.500 and an annual fee is laid of Rs.300 for the maintenance and availing the card. Tickets purchased from IRCT’s portal is bound to fetch a cashback of 10% such that every 1 reward point is equivalent to Rs.1. Utility bill can also be paid with this card and flexi pay service is too available with this card.
